Supporting Local Champions
For 8 years now, Galina's working day has started at the children's educational center of the HESED Foundation in the largest Roma neighborhood in Sofia. Having grown up in the same neighborhood, today she is not only a caring mother in her family, but also a respected and loved teacher in the community. Her constant aspiration is to develop herself, because she believes that this is the only way to be truly useful to the children, whom she dreams of one day becoming responsible and successful adults.
At the beginning of her career, Galina was worried about her lack of appropriate education and experience, but her sense of responsibility and her interest in working with children, helped her progress quickly. Her determination led her to the Element of Play® training sessions. Inspired by the clear curriculum and lesson plans, and the professionalism of the international trainer, she immediately started to use what she learned, and began to witness the rapid progress of the children. For 5 years now, the Element of Play® program has helped her make learning accessible and interesting, while preparing her little students for success in school and in life. Thank you, Galina!
